Hello! I’m Alex Beards a Offline & Online Editor & Colourist based in the north west. Video Editing has always been a passion of mine from a young age. Having started as an edit assistant at the age of 19 and learning my craft at LA Productions under the guidance of Patrick Hall and Colin McKeown OBE. I have specialised in the art of telling stories in a powerful and profound way. With previous experience as a Post Supervisor, a Digital Imaging Technician and more, my vast technical knowledge alongside my creative flair, allows me to bring a unique approach to any project both Drama & Factual.
Having worked with some of the biggest names in the industry such as Jimmy McGovern & Anna Friel. As well as working on such shows as ‘Unforgivable’ & ‘Merseyside Detectives'. Also having being award nominated for my work on the latter. My ability to be flexible among genres and role but still get the desired result allows me to help you craft your program in any way that is required.
